Incoming first-time freshman, transfer students and international students qualify for scholarships at UA. Your application for admission automatically includes your application for many scholarships, but this guide can ensure you maximize your scholarship opportunities.

Alabama students entering as first-year, main-campus students.
Non-Alabama residents or non-U.S. citizens who are entering as first-year, main-campus students.

Alabama students who have completed courses at a community college, technical college or four-year university after graduating high school and are transferring as a main-campus student.

IMPORTANT FINANCIAL AID DATES
PACT, Post 9/11 veteran benefits and external military scholarships will not be impacted by institutional scholarships or limited by cost of attendance. Students with Post 9/11 veteran benefits or external military scholarships can use institutional scholarships toward other educational expenses (room, board, books etc.)
